I am part of the T5 playtesting team.
I have some basic data on character creation. So far, it looks pretty good. It needs to be cleaned up and presented in a format that a new player can understand. Once that is done, then it'll be ready.
I have only a few essays on starship construction. It looks good so far. I like the concept of making a fusion of "book 2" and "Book 5" concepts in making a ship - now, you can have custom-made parts for your ship as well as standard plug-and-play components.
I am working with what I got. Since I don't have all the rules, I cover with MT at this time. I will keep everyone posted as to what I am doing...
