| I would agree with that, the background detail and production standards of GT sourcebooks and other materials are second to none. I like the detail, it makes it easier to get inspiration for your own adventures or NPCS. |

I must admit I was disappointed that my last group's GT campaign was just winding down when I joined. I especially liked all the detail on the Spinward Marches.
I was this close to buying all the books. Alright, there weren't that many of them at that time ... |

That would cost you a lot of money now! - There seems the be GT books for just about everything!
Oddly enough though, there doesn't seem to be any Gurps 4th edition revisions for GT - other than the new Interstellar wars efforts - though that doesn't really appeal to me, has too much of a Startrek - Enterprise feel to it. |

For me it was GT that brought me back to the fold. While my game is set earlier and the Emperor WILL die, the combination of GT and MT enriched the game enoough for me to re-start interest.
I recently played a T20 version using some props of the GT game (like Modular Cutter and StarPorts) quite heavily.
Compared to the old (CT, MT, even some TNE) stuff the new visual elements are considerably better, smother, more likely to interest players. |
